ABOUT THIS EVENT
The Ben Weider Pro/Am Naturals is in honor of Ben Weider who along with his brother Joe Weider founded the IFBB®. Ben Weider was born and raised in Montreal Quebec, Canada. He spent his life in Quebec and was our ambassador traveling around the world building the IFBB and promoting our sport. His brother, Joe moved to the US and built the sport in that country. Joe Weider’s legacy continues with the most prestigious IFBB Professional League contest in the world known as “Joe Weider’s Olympia”.
Ben Weider will now also have his legacy within the IFBB Pro League™ with the NPC worldwide Ben Weider Pro/Am Naturals. This is the contest every natural athlete around the world does not want to miss. Being part of this historic moment will be an unforgettable experience for every natural competitor around the world.
The added credibility to this event which is open worldwide is winners will qualify to the 2022 Olympia, the most prestigious event in the world (except Mens and Womens BB). The 212 and open bodybuilders at this event will receive points for the 2022 Olympia.
All NPC Natural Amateurs and qualified CPA natural members will have a chance to either earn there IFBB Pro League® cards and compete as an IFBB Pro the very same day!

Pro Qualifier (amateur event) is $250 for first class, which includes a $50 drug test fee, then $250 for each additional class). The Pro show is $100 per class all inclusive. On-site registration will incur a higher fee, so register in advance.

COMPETITION WEAR FOR CLASSIC PHYSIQUE:
Competitors are required to wear posing shorts. You are “NOT” to wear board shorts or Bodybuilding posing trunks. We have provided an image of the NPC Competition Classic Physique shorts below. Competitors are required to wear the same type of cut and all shorts that are worn in competition must be black.

Open to any current NPC member that lives in the USA that competed in any 2020 or 2021 NPC event.
No qualification required for any current NPC member living in a USA state that did not offer a natural event in 2020 or 2021.

COMPETITORS FROM CANADA
NEW RULES MAKE IT EASIER FOR CANADIAN COMPETITORS TO QUALIFY FOR THE NPC AMATEUR EVENT (Pro Qualifier).
Top 5 from the 2021 Ben Weider Natural, top 5 from the 2021 Natural Canada and top 5 from the 2022 August 6th natural Canada qualify to the 2022 Natural Ben Weider Naturals.

Age requirements for certain divisions are shown below. Any competitor who is competing in this event must submit proof of age AND U.S. citizenship with entry or at check-in. Proof of age is best accomplished by showing a birth certificate, passport or military discharge.
Junior Division
Competitor must be taking college courses during that calendar year and must not be over 23 yrs of age.
Masters Division

These are natural events.
All athletes will be required to sign a drug testing waiver at the on-site registration. Athletes are advised that the use of any performance enhancing substances is prohibited.
There is a $50.00 (U.S. DOLLARS) drug test fee per athlete.

The Top 5 competitors in each Class of Bodybuilding, Women Physique and Men Classic Physique will perform their routines at the Finals.
FINALS routines will be limited to 70 seconds. Competitor posing music must be the only music on a CD and can only be a maximum of 70 seconds. ALL posing music will begin when the competitor’s name is announced.
AWARDS
The top five competitors in each weight / height class or age group will be awarded trophies plus an overall award where there are multiple classes.

All Bodybuilding, Classic Physique and Women Physique contestants MUST supply their own music.

Posing music must be the only music provided and MUST be no longer than 70 seconds

Trainer MUST have:
A ticket to the event.
Valid NPC OR IFBB PRO LEAGUE™ Card.
Trainers Pass may be purchased at the Check-in/Weigh-in or at the door.
