About Ben Weider Naturals

ABOUT THIS EVENT

The Ben Weider Pro/Am Naturals is in honor of Ben Weider who along with his brother Joe Weider founded the IFBB®.
Ben Weider was born and raised in Montreal Quebec, Canada. He spent his life in Quebec and was our ambassador traveling around the world building the IFBB and promoting our sport. His brother, Joe moved to the US and built the sport in that country.
Joe Weider’s legacy continues with the most prestigious IFBB Professional League contest in the world known as “Joe Weider’s Olympia”.

Ben Weider also has his legacy within the IFBB Pro League™ with the NPC worldwide Ben Weider Pro/Am Naturals. This is the contest every natural athlete around the world does not want to miss.

Being part of this historic moment will be an unforgettable experience for every natural competitor around the world.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Open to NPC Worldwide athletes and CPA Athletes. You must pre-qualify in your home country and have a valid NPC or CPA card.

FOR IFBB PRO® USA ATHLETES

PRO athletes must have WON an OPEN class at a NATURAL IFBB Pro® show in 2025…

OR placed 1st in division at 2024 IFBB PRO® Ben Weider Naturals pro event,
except Masters athletes, which do not have to pre-qualify.

FOR NPC USA ATHLETES

Rules for NPC Competitors from US (Citizens, Green Card Holders, Residents of At Least 4 months prior to event in 2025)

USA Athletes must have competed in an NPC Natural Event in 2024 or 2025. No placing is required

Non tested (non-natural) events or contests before 2024 do NOT pre-qualify you for Ben Weider Naturals!

You must be an active member of NPC with valid NPC card before arriving at check-in.

Rules for NPC WORLDWIDE competitors from a country outside of the US or Canada.

Many countries REQUIRE THAT athletes PRE QUALIFY in a natural event in your HOME COUNTRY (country of citizenship or residency).

If you are from a country OTHER than USA or Canada, you must follow the rules at that link

Pre qualifying in a NON NATURAL event will NOT make you eligible for BEN WEIDER NATURALS if you are from a country with a regional requirement. See the link above.

If your country is NOT ON THE LIST at this link, and you do NOT have NPC NATURAL EVENTS in your home country of citizenship, you may compete at Ben Weider Naturals without pre-qualifying. If your country IS on the link above as having a REGIONAL REQUIREMENT, then you MUST pre-qualify in a natural event in your HOME COUNTRY!

ENTRY FORM

Online entry for NPC AND CPA ATHLETES closes Tuesday November 11 at 5pm eastern. After that, NPC athletes may register at check-in. 

Entry for PROS will close on Sunday November 9. PROS must register online by that deadline at the IFBB MEMBERSHIP site where Pros get their IFBB cards. Pros may NOT enter at check-in!

PROS MUST REGISTER VIA THE IFBB PRO LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP SYSTEM, the same system and website you used to get your IFBB PRO® card. Please go to ifbbpromembership.com to register for this event

There are no entry fees for IFBB Pro® event, however there is a $100 drug testing fee per athlete.

Open Divisions

An NPC athlete of any age or experience level may compete in the open class

Sometimes, athletes will choose to compete in an age-related class against others around their age, but also compete in Open against a range of competitors.

Masters Divisions

Competitors must be over the age(s) shown on the day of the competition, such as “Over 35” or “Over 40”  See available masters classes for this event in the SCHEDULE tab.

Junior Division

Competitor must not be over the age of 23 on the day of the competition.

POSING

All Bodybuilding, Women Physique and Men Classic Physique competitors will perform their routines at the Finals, limited to 60 seconds.

30-second routines may or may not be required at prejudging. This will be determined by the judges at the event based on the number of competitors. You may inquire when you check in.

Competitor posing music for finals must be the ONLY music provided (not entire songs) and can only be a maximum of 60 seconds.

MUSIC RULES

All Bodybuilding, Classic Physique and Women Physique contestants MUST supply their own music.

You may UPLOAD YOUR MUSIC and please also BRING YOUR MUSIC to checkin as a backup (USB or thumb drive preferred).

Deadline: You must upload your music at least 5 days before the event. Online upload will close when online entries close.  If you miss that deadline, just bring music to check-in.  We cannot accept music sent by email

There will be a link for uploading your music in the email you receive from “muscleware” after you complete the entry form. If you cannot find your confirmation of entry in your email box, check your spambox of your email.

UPLOAD ONLY YOUR MUSIC SELECTION, NOT ENTIRE ALBUMS or SONGS. No longer than 60 seconds.
